Vitamin deficiencies are exceedingly common and rarely tested.  Many of us are living with vitamin deficiencies that are decreasing our quality of life and increasing our risks of developing serious diseases yet oftentimes vitamin and nutrient testing is not covered by insurance and many docs don't routinely check on vitamin status in their patients.   

 

Fortunately, we can order our own testing.  This page provides info on a few ways that you can your own labs without a doctor's order.

Vitamin D
